What information do we collect?
The Texas State Florists' Association (TSFA) collects necessary information when you place an order, join TSFA or renew your membership, complete continuing education or register for an event. While completing a transaction, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information. You may opt to have TSFA save your credit card information for automatic membership renewals and future transactions. Any data collected is stored securely within TSFA's cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) database.
It is possible to visit the site anonymously.
How is your information used?
Any information collected from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To process transactions.
- To customize the communications you receive from TSFA and select third-parties.
- To populate the TSFA member directory, TMF and TSFA lists, committee lists, etc.
How is your information protected?
A variety of security measures, including secure server technology, are utilized to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit or access your personal information. All data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers' databases. The data is only accessible by authorized log-in and remains confidential. Credit card information is saved only upon request and is then stored securely within the CMS.

TSFA publishes member information annually in its membership directory. This information is also available to members in the TSFA Member Hub. Except for select, trusted third parties, TSFA does not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information. Trusted third parties include those who assist TSFA in operating its CRM, conducting its business, and servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. TSFA may also release your information when required by law, to enforce our site policies, or to protect the rights rights, property, or safety of TSFA and others. Upon registering for TSFA events, your name and contact information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.
